Hollingbury Plans Survey

Mixed use housing graphic (Rights to use purchased by Brighton and Hove Lib Dems)

Brighton & Hove Liberal Democrats are proposing plans to provide 1500 new homes on council-owned land, currently occupied by Hollingbury golf course. We want to ensure that these homes are truly built for local people, including social housing to help those on the council waiting list, and current residents in the area should therefore take the lead on the community amenities and overall scope of this new development.

In the proposed plan the allotments and woodland of Hollingbury Park will be retained and the new buildings will be eco-friendly with the possibility of wildflower gardens and further allotments to improve biodiversity. Beyond this the use of other recreational space is being put out for consultation in this survey to the wider community.
