Inflation hits 41 year high as it reaches 11.1%

As the costs of high inflation hit family finances the Chancellor prepares to inflict more pain by cutting services and increasing taxes.After 12 years of Tory misrule the country is mired in more debt and poverty is reaching levels not seen since the war. A Truss inspired catastrophic trade agreement with Australia and a Brexit inspired crash in trade with the EU have shown just how bad the economy has fared under Tory governments since 2012. The country needs a General Election so that it has a chance to clear up the mess of right wing Tory extremisim.
